Morrow County Health District CEO Bob Houser presented Physician Assistant John Adair with the District’s most prestigious honor, the Service Excellence Award, at the District’s annual banquet on February 25, 2016.

Adair provides medical services at the Irrigon Medical Clinic and has been with the District since 2010. Nominations for Adair included these comments: “John is always a pleasure to work with. He is always pleasant and never gets upset. He genuinely cares for his patients and goes out of his way to accommodate their needs.”  Also, “John is a true professional in every sense of the word and is well deserving of this award.”

Employees are nominated by fellow employees and are then voted on by the prior year’s award recipients.

Morrow County Health District CEO Bob Houser presented Maintenance Technician Dan Sharp the District’s most prestigious honor, the Service Excellence Award, at the District’s annual banquet on February 25, 2016.

Sharp joined the District in 2013 and works out of the hospital in Heppner, but covers all District locations. Nominations for Sharp included these comments: “Dan goes out of his way to always accommodate everyone’s needs for a repair or a special job that has to be done right away. He always has a positive thing to say about everything and everyone.” And, “Dan took it upon himself to build wheelchair racks and cane/walker holders in the storage area and helped clean and organize that area. Dan is a breath of fresh air for the district and much appreciated.”
