Effective Immediately (Friday March 27, 2020): New Visitor Restrictions for all Morrow County Health District locations
Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Heppner and all MCHD Clinics across Morrow County, have instituted additional visitor restrictions following recommendations from the Oregon Health Authority and Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Access to the hospital and clinics will be limited to one designated entrance. No visitors will be permitted, except for minors needing adult help or someone visiting a patient in care and comfort that is not related to COVID 19. All patients will be screened outside the Emergency Room doors in a designated triage area. Please follow the signs indicating where to park before being screened. All MCHD Clinic sites will also be following the same screening protocols.
We understand that this is a particularly difficult time for members of our community. Just as you’ve made changes to your daily lives, MCHD has made adjustments to our clinic and hospital operations to respond the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19). Please know that these new measures are in place to further protect the health and safety of our patients, public and caregiver teams.
We would like to remind our community to continue to avoid close contact and keep your distance from others, wash your hands regularly, disinfect frequently touched surfaces and most importantly; Stay Home, Save Lives.
