Emily Roberts has worked for the health district since 2019, first as the Compliance Officer and later (2021) as the Chief Executive Officer.  She has been in the healthcare field since 2004 in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, behavioral health, and insurance. 

Emily has extensive leadership experience and enjoys both teaching and learning from others.  A former counselor, Emily is passionate about finding ways to better serve our patients and our staff in a challenging post-COVID environment.

She holds a Master of Education from Marylhurst University, which included a focus on art therapy and professional development.  
Emily is passionate about rural health, having grown up in a rural Oregon town with limited access to healthcare services.  She and her husband are raising two young children, and they appreciate the pace of life and family-friendly activities in Morrow County.
